The Elliot Lake Red Wings are pleased to announce that Brock McNaughton will be taking over the Captains duties for the Red Wings. Brock has proven to be a leader this year both on and off the ice. Brock’s work ethic and positive attitude are exactly what the Wings are looking for as we start our second half of the season.
With Brock stepping into the Captain’s role the Red Wings have named Jovani Moses as part of our leadership group. Jovani has been one of our most consistent players this year and leads by example with hard work shift after shift. Jovani has earned the respect of teammates as well as the entire hockey staff. Ethan Mercer and Josh Tomasi will remain as our other Assistant Captains. Ethan has proven to be a force in the league this year and continuously personifies a positive attitude in the locker room and on the ice while Josh has shown his leadership becoming one of the most skilled players in the NOJHL as well as a friend and mentor to our entire group.
The entire Red Wings organization congratulates Brock and Jovani and we look forward to our leadership group guiding our team into the remaining season and playoff push.
